o CREATE Tanzania Trip Fundraiser- $5 Spaghetti Dinner. YOU CAN EAT YUMMY SPAGHETTI WHILE HELPING THOSE IN NEED

§ Please help send Gabby Brewer and five other Wash U students to Tanzania this summer. They will be traveling to the Ilunda Ward, a small village in central Tanzania, where they will work for ten weeks. They will work alongside villagers to implement projects designed to address the problems of education and sustainable development. CREATE—Combining Resources Education and Agriculture to Empower— provides the resources necessary to empower and enable the villagers to rise above a life of extreme poverty.

o My name is Julie Hess and I am the coordinator for Each One Teach One, the Community Service Office's after-school tutoring program. We are looking to recruit the best and the brightest to tutor at Hamilton Elementary School this semester, and believe your student group would bring a great deal to the table. I would like to extend an invitation to your members to attend the information session being held next Thursday, March 29 in Lein Seminar A from 5:00-6:00. .

o Sexual Assault Awareness Week ā CORE presents: "Take Back the Night" at 7:30pm in Brookings Quad

ˇWednesday, April 4

o MLK Symposium ā "Blackout" all day event and gathering at 5pm at Clocktower

o Sexual Assault Awareness Week ā CORE presents: "Rape as a Weapon: The Darfur Genocide " featuring Reverend Gloria White-Hammond, MD, National Chairperson of the Million Voices for Darfur campaign, founder of My Sister's Keeper (an organization supporting micro-enterprise projects for women in Sudan), and has made multiple trips to war-torn southern Sudan and refugee camps in Darfur to speak with female victims of genocide, at 7:00pm in the Women's Building Formal Lounge

o Sexual Assault Awareness Week ā CORE presents: "Sex and Power Forum" at 6:30pm in Ursa's Fireside
